NANTUCKET LIGHTSHIP
In 1985,
the Nantucket Lightship is decommissioned by the United
States Coast Guard as the last Lightship in the United States.
In 2000, Bill and Kristen Golden buy the ship on Ebay to
preserve her, spent three years refurbishing the Ship and now
offer the luxury yacht for charters, vacation rentals and events. The lightship is available for weekly charters in Nantucket Harbor from May through September and, in Boston, for event charters at Rowes Wharf from October through April.
Identity and brand design for a decommissioned lightship turned luxury yacht.
